Golden Retriever - Spooked- obsessive compulsive dog???

Question
Our Golden (appropriately named Shadow) is 11 months old.  About three months ago we had company come and stay at our home for a few days.  One of our guests thought that it was great fun to reflect his crystal on his watch on the ceiling of the veranda and have Shadow chase after it.  Every since . . .Shadow it completely possessed by chasing any form of light . . .example . .pulling tinfoil out of the container and having it reflect on the wall will send him into a spin. We are aware of this and try hard not to cause any unnecessary episodes.  It doesn't feel to us at least that this is an enjoyable thing for Shadow, as he seems to be stressed over it . . .any suggestions to help would be appreciated . . .thanks and Happy New Year . .Susan

Wow Susan!  I think poor Shadow has some OCD issues... Obsessive Compulsive Behaviors????
I am not the one to talk to on this:  Please go to the behavior expert and ask them how to break this compulsive problem.
