Questioni have a 3 year old dachshund, she is over weight, therefore her armpits are closed off and don't recieve air, they produce a horrible odor, and a substance sort of similar to her earwax only thicker, smellier, and stickier, it is the same color as her earwax, what is this, how can i prevent this, how can i treat this?
AnswerWow - first of all she needs to lose some weight as it is very bad for her back and she is young. I have never heard of an armpit substance - I would get her to your vet before it becomes worse. I know they can get yeast infections under there and that can end up being painful - I am sure your little girl is uncomfortable so get her there as soon as you can.
