Question
let me start by saying thank you for all the advice you've given people including me.I wanted to know if petland store's are a good place to buy a boxer pup and if not is there a local breeder in my area(Florida,Pompano beach,Miami)and if petland store's carry the recommended food for the breed. any help would be appreciated.

Answer
HI JB...

I'm going to answer you first question very simply...NO.  Here are a few links that can explain it to you way better than I can.  :)

If the reading doesn't do it for you, watch some of these videos:

Beyond the disgusting cruelty of puppymills, pups that are raised in small cages during critical learning stages in their lives are often harder to train and/or socialize.  Because they are forced to urinate and defecate in their living quarters, they are often harder to potty train.

Here is a link from the American Boxer Club...anything with FL after it is a breeder in Florida.

What to look for and not to look for in a breeder:

Good luck in your search.  Remember, a well-bred Boxer puppy from health tested parents may be expensive but then so is a poorly bred dog from a pet store (both initially and down the road in vet bills)!
