Question

Bugzy my 2 year old female boxer keeps having soars appear in-between her toes, they appear to be blister like and very soar. like yesterday she was fine, no limping or anything, i let her outside to go poddy and she came in went in to the living room looked at me and started to cry loudly. when i looked at her paw i could not see anything. but this morning it appears to be really raw and blistery. it is snowy here, could this be the problem?

They are from damp grass from going outside.

They are interdigital cysts caused from damp, dewy grass, or wet grass from rain, etc.

Soak her paws in epsom salts for 15 minutes twice a day, and after each visit outside.

I bough cheap dollar store booties and put on one of my Boxers every time she went outside to prevent it from reoccuring during damp seasons............ it worked.

An antibiotic such as Panolog is perfect for clearing it up. They are not "cysts" but are called "interdigital cysts. It is actually a fungus from the damp, wet grass and appear to look like "cysts."

They are painful, so you need to soak them and apply Panalog. Ask your vet for Panalog or check online at a pet pharmacy.
