QUESTION: i have a few boxers and would love to know how would you rate them as to their breed the adult one is my male german boxer he is almost 4 the two pups one brindle the other is a mix of white boxer and brindle
ANSWER: Hi Peggy,
The boxer I'm seeing in this picture, a fawn, in my honest opinion does not meet the breed standard. If I were to walk up to this boxer on the street I'd think it was a mix breed. Please feel free to get others opinions,I did not see any other pictures, thank you so much for your question.

QUESTION: i am so sorry that only that pic, made it through i will try and send the others, and by the way that pic is my adult now, and yes he is pure breed and looks like it now, so baby pics of pups are like people they can change. don't you think
Answer Yes Peggy pups can change as they grow but when you've been doing this as long as I have you can pretty much tell a show/breeder quality puppy and a pet quality puppy from around 8-16 weeks, may I suggest you visit the American Boxer Club website and the American Kennel Club (AKC) for detailed breed standards, diagrams and pictures. You may also like to google the breed standard for the European boxer standard (FCI) to understand the standard for the German boxers. If your not aware, breeders show their boxers at shows for the sole purpose of others to evaluate their breeding stock, this may be your best option to evaluate your stock in person as most pictures never do a dog justice.Good luck and thank you for your questions.
