Question
I have two boxers, a male and female. the male is 2 years old and the female is a year old. my question is, do you know what i would look for, any signs or what not letting me know that she or he is ready? the male is always trying to hump the female but never has gotten stuck. just wondering if theres anything i could do to speed up the process or if its to early? thank you

Answer
First of all-- DO NOT BREED HER UNTIL SHE IS 2 YEARS OLD!

She is NOT mature enough to be able to emotionally handle nursing puppies, let alone, how to naturally whelp on her own-- unless you want to cut their umbilical cords, bottle feed them every 2 hours, etc. etc. DO NOT EVEN TRY TO BREED HER!

She is no where near of breeding age.

I will not discuss this further with you. You need to research on the internet all about breeding and Boxers too.

You haven't a clue... and irresponsible for considering breeding her at 1 year old!
