my boxer dog J.D i recently got a dark brindle boxer dog who looks like a black boxer and anywhere i take him people say he isnt a boxer and his coat is little thicker than other boxers i ve seen . what should i do to make sure if he is a pure boxer pup because i ve seen her mother when i bought him n she was perfectly normal.i am sending you pics of the dog plz help.

Boxers do not carry the genetic coding for the black coat color which means that black Boxers don't exist. If you want to get into that conversation with people, have fun with it :)

The only way you can make sure that he's 100% Boxer is to run a DNA profile. So essentially, you just have to go with what you were told. You can ask to see the father, which should have been done prior to choosing your puppy. You've not seen him even in photos?
