Boxer puppy with white face

Question
I am looking to adopt a boxer puppy. The one I am interested in is fawn, but one side of his face is completely white, while the other side is white around his nose, but his eye has brown and black markings. I am worried that the one side of his face is all white. Should I be concerned? Is this a defect? There were two white puppies in the litter. Please let me know... thanks!

Answer
Hi Kate,
Thanks for your question about the boxer puppy you want to adopt. While the white marking may look like a defect it is not, just unusual.I have a young adult with similar markings with no adverse effects. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, you're just getting a boxer who looks unique. The white puppies in the litter make no difference, as most of the stories about white boxers aren't true. The white boxers are not unhealthy, they can sunburn and they can be deaf. There is no scientific evidence to prove otherwise. Good luck with your new unique boxer puppy,
