Raw Food diet

Question
I am thinking about the RAW food diet. It looks like there is a lot off health benefits, though it does seem like a bit of work on my part. Can you tell me your thoughts, opinions, research, etc. on this diet? I do have a Boxer, male, and he is just over 7 months old.

Answer
I am against raw diets.

Bones splinter and accumulate in the stomach and have to be surgically removed, not counting the level of pain and discomfort the dog has in the meantime.

Meats carry bacterias if not fully cooked, etc., and can kill the dog.

Most vets are totally against any raw diet. Ask any vet.

There are MORE problems with raw diet than any "potential" benefit "claimed."

Google "harmful canine raw diet" and you will see.

I prefer Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance dog food. Some pet stores carry it, but you can order from a dealer online and have it shipped to your front door.
