baldness in spayed boxer

i am having problems my boxer bitch is 6 years old last year i had her spayed as she was not to have another litter however recently have noticed she is going bald on her side at the hips and a little up the back have checked for fleas she is clear, any suggestions please

I'm hesitant to give you any kind of suggestions over the internet without knowing her past health and/or seeing photos of her.

It could be as simple as allergies, seasonal allopecia all the way to something more serious like mange.  You really should take her to the vet and have her looked at.  They may want to do a skin scraping or biopsy to determine the cause of her hair loss.
