Question
i have a 6 yr old boxer, she started holding her leg up today. i looked at her foot and seen that she has some sort of funk between her toes! any idea? she also has a nickle size growth on her knee same foot. there was no blood between her toes just like really swelled and clear stuff there. just trying to get an idea i will be taking her to the vet in the am!

Answer
Hi Jon,

Glad to hear your taking her to the vet in the morning. Its always best whenever a boxer has any kind of lump or bump to have it checked out immediately by the vet as cancer is a major concern for the breed. The swelled area could be many things so I'd not like to guess but it is common for boxers to retain fluid to an injured area, other possibilities might be a yeast or fungus infection of sorts if her feet have been staying wet alot from the weather. Good luck and many happy wishes for you and your beloved boxer.
