hi my  10 mt old  boxer  was in heat in  jan - feb  but  has   just started  spotting again   7 weeks  later   is   this  right ??

No, that is not right.

Heat cycles last up to 4 weeks (one month) and only twice per year; every 5-6 months.

If she is spotting- get her to a vet immediately. She could have gotten pregnant and loosing the puppies, or have a uterus infection, or the spotting is coming from her bladder or kidneys..........

Spotting is not normal. She shouldn't "spot" beginning a heat until June-July or so, and 7 weeks after a heat is not related to a heat cycle at all.
