Hi Jannie,
We have a 22 month old male neutered Boxer named General and is the love of our lives. My question is do Boxers really keep growing till they are two years old? Just in the past month, our boy has gotten quite mature and seems to have "beefed" up with muscles. He's our gentle giant. I've never had a Boxer before......always Poodles. If I would have known how much fun and loving Boxers were, I would have always picked Boxers. Thank you so much for your time.

Actually, 2 years old is the "adult" age of the Boxer.... any age before that is still growing.
Boxers will remain "puppish" in behavior and attitude for most their lives, but size stabilizes at 2. And of course, Boxers are clowns- funny and never ceasing to surprise you with their antics!
So what he is now, will be his size for the rest of his life, less gaining weight due to over-eating or something.
He is handsome and he is big. Boxers can have small bone structures, medium and large bone structure,, and weight accordingly. He is big-boned and muscular... and probably weighs around 90 pounds, or more, which is large. Average adult weight is 75-80 for males and 50-65 for females.
He is a gentle giant. General is a good name :)
