age 7 boxer male lymphoma

I just received word 2/13/12 that my sweet 7 year old male boxer has lymphoma. I am wondering after reading the 2008 post from Jennifer Walker about this same diognosis and it was from 2008 does she have any advice and if so what. How did her boxer respond to the chemo and is he ok? I am scared....

I am sorry to hear about your boy, and very sorry for the delay in this response -- I did not get the e-mails that I had a question pending!

I have not had to deal with lymphoma personally yet, knock wood, but the links in my previous answer do lead to forums with others who have been through it. Most of the Boxer-specific forums will no doubt have members who have dealt with lymphoma, as well.

I know there has been research ongoing but I haven't yet heard of any ground-breaking updates as a result, unfortunately. This page is fairly recently updated and gives information on treatment, clinical trials, etc.
