my BT and upset stomach

I have a 11 month old female BT and she frequently throws up foamy and slimy sometimes with pieces of her food in it. She will start to heave for a few minutes almost like a cat coughing up a hairball, then throw up. When she first started this the vet told my husband it was nothing to worry about. I'm still kinda concerned. What do you think?

Hi Connie.  Dogs and especially puppies tend to vomit for no apparent reason.  If she is not exhibiting any other symptom such as:  diarrhea, coughing, sneezing, loss of apatite, loss of energy, then I would agree with your vet.

Food allergies can sometimes cause vomiting, but before switching her food, I would keep an eye on her, and her weight, to see how she is doing.
