cat illness

hi my cat has been lossing alot of hair latly and when she scraches she scars her skin I was wondering what that was about

Hi Rico.  Lots of possibilities here.  The most common are:

fleas and flea allergies
food allergies
environmental allergies (smoke, pollen, many cats are allergic to Febreeze if you use this)
mites (mange)
fungal infection (like ringworm, which is highly contagious to you!)
auto immune disease (the immune system attacks the skin)
bacterial infections
flea powders or flea shampoos

Unfortunately, these can all mimic each other, and only a vet will be able to determine what is truly causing the problem and give you the proper treatment plan.  So definitely get her in to the vet this week.
