Cats illness

Question
My cat is 8 years old.  Two days ago she stopped eating and when she does get food in her mouth she cries, hisses, then growls.  She's very aggressive and she wants to hide.  I can tell she wants to eat because when she sees the food she'll go to it but won't eat it.  She sticks her tongue out often and the third eyelid on her right eye is almost halfway covering the eye, also that eye is extra watery. I carried her to the litter box and she went in it then sat down, then turned around and covered litter over where she had been lying.  When she walked out she had the urine all over herself.  The vet has no answer for her behavior she said it's nothing in the mouth or in her colon.  We have her on antibotics and so far we have seen no progress.  Do you know what could be wrong with her?

Answer
Hey !

I'm so sorry but if a vet cant diagnose whats wrong I doubt if I'll be able to but I try my best.

For starters try changing her diet, she might not like the food that you've given her make sure she has fresh water 24/7. Try getting some cats eye clense solution and see if that will help with her eyes. It could just be from old age. Have her teeth checked their may be something wrong with her tooth or gums and maybe be painful for her to eat something so make sure that those are checked out.

Try going to www.drsfostersmith.com and purchase FeliWay this relaxes cats in the most stressful situation. Put this in the area where your cat is most likely to be or you can purchase the spray and spray it in the air before you feed her. Try these suggestions if nothing works, and she still isn't eating I suggest you find a different vet, or go to an excellent animal hospital. I hope all goes well.
