Question
I have a question about cat litter. I have a new kitten and she is a long haired cat. I am using clumping cat litter and it seems to be sticking to her feet I am not to sure what she does when she is in there but it gets all gummy like and sticks to her feet. Do you have any suggestions as to what litter I should be using and is this a common problem with long haired cats???

Answer
Hi Sadie, thanks for the question. This can be a problem with any cat. The litter gets muddy when it gets wet and if your cat doesn't step away from it right away you will have a mess. there are lots of other litters you could try out just stay away from anything made of CLAY. There are some litters that are corn based but they may be a bit light and might stick to her coat. Even though they are not muddy you may still end up with litter all over the house !
Look into the silica crystal litter. It is very clean.
