Question
when does a kitten have there first bowel movement. I have a baby kitten don't know how old but very young . Past three days been feeding it but no bowel movement . I have been giving it powdered milk in a kitten bottle . I would figure it to be 3 to 4 weeks old . do i have reason to be concerned .

I also have a 3week old male kitten and ive been feeding him kmr(kitten milk replacement) because its healty for the kittens if they dont have their mother. He should be having a bowel movement anyday now. Do you have a litter box that it can climb in and out of easily?? if so then everyday about every 3 or 4 hours show it the box so it knows. My cat had his 1st bowel movement today and its been 3 days since i had him. SO anyday now most like and yes you have a reason to be concerned!! if it doesnt have a bowel movement within the next day or two call your vets and go see him/her or ask what you should do.
