Are the Scottish Fold's ears loose and floppy like a hound dog, or are they just regular, rigid ears with a fold in them?

The second comment is closer to the truth.  The ears fold fairly rigidly and not floppy like a hound dog.  The ideal show specimen should actually have the ear fold twice and be tightly folded appearing caplike to the head.
