Midnight, our new mommy cat

Midnight had her kittens 2 weeks ago this coming Saturday.  She wants to eat all the time now, is this something I should let her do?  So far I have been, but if I need to use portion control I will. Please help, thanks.

Hi Valerie,

Congratulations on your new kittens. She is eating a lot because she needs to feed her kittens. Instead of cutting back on her food, feed her kitten food. It is a higher nutritional value food, giving her more of what she needs in the same amount. Once the kittens are weaned you can take her off this. I hope this helped. Good luck.
