my cat has cut his paw

hi, my cat has cut the pad on his right paw somehow and it looks like some of his claw is missing. he won't let me look at it properly and he is limping from it. is there anything i can do to help him or will it just have to heel itself?

Get your cat to the vet immediately.  Obviously your cat has suffered some kind of trauma and there is a danger of infection.  There may even more damage than is obvious. These things can get really bad if left to fester.
