agreesive behavior?

I HAVE A PREGNANT CAT WHO HAS NURTURED THE 7 WEEK OLD CATS BY ANOTHER CAT IN THE PAST.SHE IS NOW BITING THEM ON THE NECK AND TRYING TO CARRY THEM AROUND. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND HOW DO I STOP IT?

Hi Stacie,

This is nothing to worry about. This is how a mother cat carries her young around. She grabs them by the scruff of the neck and moves them that way. She may be nervous about the area she has them in and wants to move them to a safer area. Keep her and the kittens in a room that is quiet and you will see her stop trying to move the kittens.
