Question
will my bengal cross kitten still bond with me as he has already bonded with my two other kittens and my one older cat?he is still very young (9wks) and im wondering if he will bother with me as he has so much feline attention.

Answer
Caz,

Even though your Bengal has lots of feline buddies, they are not the same as humans.  Often cats look at us humans as surrogate parents and the bond is entirely different than how they bond with other cats.  So, there should be no problem with your cat bonding with you.  Also, unlike dogs, cats will bond with people at any age.  So, whether your cat is 9 weeks, one year, or 12 years old, it will still bond with you.

One hint:  make sure you socialize your kitten to people.  If the kitten has not been socialized, it may exhibit biting/scratching behavior.  We cure our kittens of this by playing the holding, stroking, soft talking "game", which most kittens love.  Should they start biting or scratching, the game stops, the kitten gets put down and we walk away.  Kittens tend to play awfully roughly with each other since cat skin is so tough.  They often have to learn to avoid that kind of behavior with us soft skinned humans.

Best regards... Norm.
