Anger Issues?

Question
Thanks for your help! I read a little bit, and I've noticed that she doesn't seem to like her belly touched.   I used to be able to pick her up by sort of scooping under her belly, and then hold her like a baby. But now it sort of looks like she might be in pain, so that when you touch her belly, it hurts her like if somebody touched the place where YOU hurt really bad. Can you help me find out for sure if that is her problem? I love Tucker and don't want her to be in pain. Thank you for your help!               Your grateful friend, Melissa <and her hurting kitten.>

Answer
Hi
I'm sorry I'm not a vet and i can't really give you a definite answer for this one. it does sound like she does have some discomfort there though. if she is a long haired cat make sure she doesn't have any matted fur as this can be painful. If she does it will have to be cut away by either a vet or groomers.
She may have a skin allergy which makes her skin in that area hurt, again only a vet could tell you this.
I would really recommend that you take your lovely cat to the vets for a check up, just in case she does have something internally wrong, which can be fixed and that will make your cat a happier feline.

i wish you all the best.
