cat flea medication

I used the hartz flea and tick drops, and i read about it online about the reactions pets can have to it. I washed it off right away, it was on her for about an hour or so but it took 3 washes just to get the medication off. But I'm just a little worried still cause she's still scratching the area from time to time, (more than she usually itches herself), and I don't know if i should give her a bath again.. I really don't want to put her through it again.. It's either the bath again and see if she stops or if i should wait it out a day and see if it gets better?

I would not suggest that you give the cat a bath again, at this point it may be fairly hard to determine whether her skin irritation is due to the flea product or to the excess bathing. I would suggest that you wait it out for a few days, if she doesn't improve then I would suggest that you take her to see the vet in case the reaction is more serious and needs medication from the vet to help stop the itching.
