I used to Breed my cat about Seven year's ago she had in her litter five kitten in each litter, she has'nt had a litter in about Four years now. And last night she delivered only one this time, My question to you is why only one this time, and also if she ever had a next litter would it be also one kitten? and I was wondering why this time she only had the one? Also i forgot to add that she's had nine litter altogether,Thank you for taking your time out of your day, Cindy....

Hi Cindy, well if your cat hasn't had a litter in 4 years she has probably developed some fibroids in her uterus. This would also explain why she is only able to carry one kitten.  I would recommend you get an ultrasound done on her when she has finished nursing this kitten. OR>. just get her spayed. A cat that is 7 years old is at high risk for uterine cancer and/or fibroids. You may lose her if you don't get her checked out. Teresa
