do you think my 1 1/2 year male persian will start spraying even though he's fixed if i get a male persian kitten, or will they be ok together?

There are never any guarantees, but it is unlikely the established male will start spraying when the new kitten arrives.

It is important that a kitten be introduced properly so that they will get along well together.  Please follow up if you need advice on the best way to introduce a new kitten to a household with an established cat.

They really should be OK together once they get past the "getting to know you" rituals.
