Coughing

My cat has had a dry cough for a few days. It now seems like she can't meow either. She tries but no sound comes out. She is eating but seems a bit under the weather. Any advice on what could be her problem would be appreciated.

Remember, I am not a vet.  The problem is that it could be a variety of problems.  So, I would take your kitty to the vet to see what is going on.  A dry cough could mean anything, even bordatella (kennel cough in dogs), which cats can get.  Fortunately most of these ailments are very treatable.
