Male kitten after neutering

My male kitten was neutered last week. I am noticing 2 skin colored spots under his anus. I am wondering if this is normal and how do I know if it is infected?

When a cat gets neutered, all the vet does is to put a slit in the scrotum, pull out each testicle and snip.  So, I would not think what you are seeing is untoward.  However, for safety sake and your own peace of mind, you may want to see your vet as a follow up.
