preg cat

My cat is due anytime I beleive. Last night she meowed alot threw the night and than this morning i found white mucus stuff on my rug about as long as a finger. No blood in it. Today she is pacing around alot and meowing alot, also wanting to go outside. Is she close to labor? what could that white stuff be?

Answer
The mucous is from her mucous plug and is yellowish/white in colour and the ammount is small in volume. When in labor, you will be able to see it sticking right on her vaginal area. Some cats do not pass it until they are in labor. Every cat is different.
You usually see it within a day or two of delivery.
