Question
I've just rescued a black & white, 8 month old male, neutered, with shots, who needs a single cat home. What would be a good feeding schedule, dry or wet or both, and can you recommend a/some brands?
Many thanks!

Answer
Hi Jeff,  Glad to see you rescued a new kitten!  Wonderful for this cat kid ......
I sure do like the following brands of cat foods-

Innova ; Wellness; Merrick; Evangers; Eagle Pack; Canadae; Solid gold.
I like to do dry food with a little wet ( canned) on top ( as a topper treat)
YOU can do 3/4 cup of dry and a tablespoon of wet in the am.
In the pm, offer 1/4 cup of dry food and 2 tablespoons of wet food.

Also, many of our Cat clients take 1/2 teaspoon per day of NuVET Plus Feline Vitamins.
( NuVet feline is a powder you mix into the wet food each day ....)
Most cats get 1/2 to 1 full teaspoon per day - depends on the cats weight.
NuVET is Holistic and sold here:
