QuestionHello,
my longhair, indoor cat has had a furball for about 2 months, and I hear it rattling when she purrs. I give her Catlax (from my vet) nearly every morning and her eating and potty patterns are normal. A few times a week, she starts hacking, but it never comes up.
I'm concerned it is caught - is that possible? Should she have surgery to have it removed?
Thanks very much for your help!
Sincerely,
Diane & Pixie
Answerhi there!
You may want to take her to the vet for them to listen to her chest. many times coughing can indicate early signs of heart disease and or asthma in cats. Believe it or not, it may not just be a hairball! :)
With catlax..hairballs go out the backend,, not the front.
