Cat stool problems

I have a 6 year old female cat whom has never had a formed stool, her stools have always been mushy and she has always has had bad flatus. Her stools have always been like this since I got her when she was 5 months old. Do you have any answer to me. Now she has started having accidents on my carpet.

You should have her stool checked for intestinal parasites as well as sent for a culture.

Diet is crucial in this case as she most likely has a food allergy or inflammatory bowel disease.  I would try to feed her a hypoallergenic diet such as Nature's Recipe Venison or a rabbit-based diet.  Feed exclusively for 6-8 weeks and also give plain yogurt and add Prozyme to her food.
