Problem with Declaw?

Question
I had my cat declawed about 4 months ago with the laser method.  This morning she was limping so I looked at her paw and a bone appears to be breaking through her skin.  Is this a big problem?  Do I need to worry or is this a side effect that I am just not aware of?  My vet will not be in until tomorrow and I am concerned.  I have antibiotics and pain meds that have been prescribed for her in the past here at my house but didn't know if I should give her any of it.  Thank you in advance

Answer
You need to take your cat in to be looked at period.

I hate declaws-despise them. Vet that are all laser method are STILL causing pain. Its an amputation and a BURN on top of it.

DO NOT use those antibiotic at all, even the pain meds. Those should have been finished and pitched from her last surgery.

What could be happening is that she has broken open on of her sugical scars and now she has part of a bone peeking through. It needs medical attention or the situation can get worse to the point a foot or leg needs to be amputed (which I have seen before)

good luck!
