she is full of milk and dropped and starting to swell in the vagina. How soon should I expect delivery and what size litter do they normally have?

Hi Cathy! I am so sorry it took so long to reply!  I've been having some major computer problems and was unable to get online.
How's your girl doing?  Any pups yet?
It's very important to have veterinary care during pregnancy.  Animals need regular checkups just like pregnant humans do.  Your veterinarian will be able to give you an approximate due date, an estimate on how many pups will be born and supplements to make your dog stronger during the anticipation of birth.
A dog's gestation period is 58-63 days long.  It sounds, from your description, that your dog may have already had her pups or will within the week.
Labs usually have 6-12 pups in their litters, possibly more.
