My hamster.. :(

My hamster, a roborovski, has a lump near its neck... Its hard, and from what I have researched, it probably is a cancer tumor... I'm very worried... My parents doesnt allow me to bring them to the vet as the vet fees in my country is too high... Its about 50 dollars for only vitamins. Is there anything natural thing that I can do??? Please help me :( Its making clicking and squeaking sounds everyday.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do at home. Your suspicion that the lump is a tumor is likely correct. Even if your parents did allow you to take him to a veterinarian, there is very little that they could do for treatment. Surgery is very tough on these little guys and often times they don't make it through. Another option besides a tumor is an abscess from infection. This also requires surgery and would need to be done by a vet who is familiar with treating this species. I wish I could help you more. As I have advised other questioners with financial need, look into any agencies in your area that might be willing to donate money for his care. Hope things work out for you both.
