Cats vs. Cooking-spray

Hello. I have a question. I read somewhere that if your cat litter sticks to the litter box that you can spray non-stick cooking spray to the box... Is that ok?

I don't really know the answer to this. If you are asking me if it safe for the cat I would think it's about as safe as it is for the cat to sit in the litter. We cook with it, not potty with it, so I would have to say it's safe.
Keeping the litter box clean and dry makes this unnecessary however.
