Dogs ear bleeding

Question
My 2-year old Jack Russell was attacked by a pricker bush earlier this afternoon while taking her out for a walk. She has a small cut on the edge of her ear. I got the bleeding to stop, but everytime she shakes her head it starts back up again, (stops after a few minutes).
I wrapped it up hoping this will help. Is there anything I can do to help w/ the bleeding, so It doesn't start up again?
I cleaned it was soap/water & have some antibotic cream on it as well.
Any help you can give would be great!!  As you know, Jack Russell are hard to keep still...LOL  :)

Thanks-
Jennifer

Answer
Hi Jen:  I have had this happen to me before at my Doggie Hotel... Blood all over the walls.... Every time this Lab would shake his head, the blood would go all over.

I had septic ointment that I used.  You can use some corn meal...Do you have any corn meal?  You make a paste with this and then place it onto the ear.  It helps to clot up the area.

BEST wishes and have fun!
