Rescue dog but dont know her breed?

Hi I rescued this dog from this home that just didn't want her! They had her 8 months and had no information to give me, I'm not even sure how old she is. Who do I ask to find out what breed she is. I can send you a photo but not sure how I would do that through here!

You can't send photo's through here, sorry.  Guessing breeds in mix breed dogs is always fun but very subjective.  Some are obvious some are not.  You could probably get 3 different answers from 3 different veterinarians.  If she is a pure bred (or close to one) you much get a pretty good guess but I have seen some mixed breeds that stump me.  So, I would recommend taking her in to see a veterinarian.

Interestingly, there is a blood test that now will identify breeds in mix breed dogs.  It's limited to certain breeds but from what I've heard is fairly accurate.  Their website is: http://www.wisdompanel.com/

I also recommend a veterinarian since, in any rescue dog, you will need to know if she has been spayed or not, if she has heartworm disease or other internal parasites which could lead to problems.  Or just in general if she is healthy.....
