female dog leaking urine

I have a female 1 1/2 years old dog. When she gets up from laying down there is a puddle under her and it is urine is leaking out slowly. She is acting fine and drinking normal. What can i do?

I am assuming this dog is spayed. This is a case of urinary incontinence and this has to be treated by a vet. She is leaking urine when at rest and that is a sign of hormonal incontinence which is not unusual for spayed females. Age really makes no difference- it can hit at any age.
The vet has medicines that will help her hold her urine better.
Make an appointment for next week to get her in.
In the meantime get some of those barriers they use on elderly or bedridden people to keep the urine off the floor. You will have to get her to lie on them however.
Put one in her bed too.
