penny crane my dog was bitten on the shoulders and required 4 staples both sides; i wonder if she will get up when she needs to pee in spite of the pain, and is there something safe for her to have for pain, i imagine the bites hurt.

Often dogs do not feel pain. A good homeopathic remedy would be Hypericum 30c or REscue Remedy(from health food store) . The best would be for you to learn Reiki (check in your town for classes) as you can help this and other problems yourself.

If you can't do the above, just give a lot of love and petting, or call the clinic who did the surgery to get pain meds.
