advantage and its brothers

Question
I have a very spoiled totally inside cat.
I have used Advantage and some other brands. not with equal success.
She had one flea. we are in florida. if that expalins it.
Is Advantage still the best thing for fleas.
She is a Maine Coon Cat. by way of a wandering alley
male.

Yes Advantage is the best.  Make sure you are buying it from your veterinarian as many online and discount stores are selling imitation products that may not work.  You need to apply it to the head/neck area (do not put at the shoulders or back as they can lick it off thus it won't work) and use it EVERY month.  If you are seeing fleas, then I would also recommend using a treatment spray around the house and ALL other pets (even ferrets, rabbits or other rodents) in the house should be treated.
