Hamsters feeding

Hi Hilary!

How much hamster food do I feed my 9 month old teddy bear hamster???

How much fod do I feed my other hamster that is 1 year old???

Hi Chianne!  Hamsters should have the opportunity free feed at all times.  Do you feed them flake food or do you feed them the square solid food?  Usually, if feeding the solid squares, 3 squares per hamster should be sufficient.  If you feed them flake food, fill a small hamster sized bowl per day for them to feed.  They may not eat it all, but this is the amount they should be given to nibble on.  If the next day there is left over food from the last day, empty the left over food and replace with fresh.  Fresh water is also important at all times.  I hope this is helpful!
