my pitbull has developed 2 patches of hairloss by her hips i have taken her to the vet and she was negative for mange.she has had these hairless patches before and they grew back but this time they are not.any suggestions? thanx-wendy

Has she been tested for ringworm? How about hormonal issues? Alopecia is not uncommon in dogs and cats and sometimes it's self-induced by the dog licking constantly in one area.

Something bilateral like this however is either a hormonal problem or can be from her lying on that side on cement often. If she is in a cement kennel that can cause this.

Since I can't see her, and don't diagnose, you really need to have your vet look her over again for other issues.
