Bump on dog

Question
I don't think this is an emergency situation at all so i hope i'm right.  I just need some advice.  My dog (almost 2 year old french bulldog) has a lump behind her jaw bone on the left side only.  it's about the size of a grape, it doesn't seem to be attached to the skin or anything like that, it can move a little when i press on it. it is kind of squishy and doesn't cause her any pain or anything like that even when i touch it.  my husband's family bred english bulldogs when he was growing up and he thinks it's just a fatty deposit or something like that.  Should we get it checked out anyway?  of course i'm worried it could be a tumor or something but i've seen a lot online about other things it could be, like swollen lymph glads, fatty deposits, blood blisters, etc.  They say she can get blood blisters like that from rough play and she's the life of the party at the dog park, and one dog loves to pull on the extra skin on her face, not enough to hurt her but he'll definitely hold on, so maybe that could have caused it?  thank you.

Answer
Lumps in that area can be salivary duct swellings. Some of these are caused by trauma. While this isn't an emergency, you should have the vet look at it and aspirate it with a needle to see what it is. It could be an abscess also.
But either way the vet needs to see it.
