Question
Hello,
About 2 weeks ago, my husband and I rescued 2 baby bunnies at my work (landscapers destroyed nest and took mother!) They are doing great, eating great..but 2 days ago, one fell about 4 feet onto cement a floor. He (or she) is acting ok, moving around pretty normal, eating and drinking the same, but the head is slightly tilted to one side( but while feeding him, the head can straighten up) The 1st day, he would lose his balance off and on, but after that, i haven't noticed any wobbliness. Do you have any knowledge of what could have happend? brain damage? nerve damage? Do you think he will be ok?
Thank You

Answer
Hard to say. if he is eating well and moving okay chances are good he will be fine. Maybe not releasable but fine as a pet. Normal motion and balance mechanisms are in the inner ear, just as with us. Once fluid is restored to the area it could clear up entirely. Head tilt may or may not go away.
