Dof bleeding from penis

My dog was mating with a female and he has blood coming from in his penis. What does this mean or more important how do I fix it?

Answer
During the mating process small blood vessels can burst leading to a small amount of bleeding from the penis.  This should stop on its own relatively soon, so if it have continued you should have him checked at your veterinarian to make sure there is no injury or urinary problem.
