MY dog is acting like his paw hurts i check to see if there is any thing in paw and nothing he only cry out when he is laying down he can stand and walk it like the first joint hurts he hold it up when he gets up but will put it down he is 15 i thought old age please help i love him so much husband loss job and vet will not tell me anything if i don't bring him in thank you

It is quite possible that he has arthritis in his joints. But it can be many things, so the vet really does need to see him. You might want to see if he will take payments for one visit.
He may need an xray of his leg or at least his wrist joint.
There is nothing else I can tell you online. He needs to see the vet and find out what it is and get some pain medicine for him.
