Question
Hello, i have 8 pit bull puppies about six weeks old and under some of there eyes it look wet like there eyes have been running or something. Do you know what causes there eyes to do that and if it is a big concern that i need to take them to the vet?

Answer
It is not a serious enough problem to go to the clinic yet. Holistic veterinarians call this an early warning sign of illness (or have you used some chemical cleaners, or new rugs or other toxin?). If it started after vaccines, then that is the cause. Conventionally, I would probably do nothing at this point but have you watch it. Holistically I would have you start feeding them a fresh meaty bone and pureed vegetable diet which would generally improve their health so the eye tearing would resolve. If it is an eyelid problem irritating the eyes, homeopathy, acupuncture or other holistic modalities could help.

You can learn to do significant healing on your own, so check out Reiki, HTA, TTouch, Flower Essences and more.

You could work with an integrative veterinarian (www.ahvma.org, www.theAVH.org, www.TCVM.com, animalchiropractic.org and more) who could help your pit bull puppies not have genetic problems as the bitch is healed at a deep level.

Please give as few vaccines as possible to these pups. distemper and Parvo are really the only ones needed.
